Advantages: Sharp picture and connectivity to other devices.
Disadvantages: Slow channel changing.
I have only had this television for just over a month now so unfortunately I can't comment too much on the longevity of the product. However, I can give my initial impressions of the TV. First of all the only assembly which was required for me was to screw the TV into its base to be put on a TV stand, this was really easy to do and although I'm using a stand I think the T V would look good on the wall too. The installation of the different digital channels is also really easy, although to change some of the settings on the TV I had to look through the instructions as they weren't obvious on the remote control. Also connectivity to the TV is easily achieved through the scart, HDMI and USB ports, I have connected my DVD player and also laptop to the TV and have found it really easy to switch between them (although it took me a while to figure out which button to use to switch input sources). The picture itself is very clear as is the sound and I have been impressed with the TV guide which gives lots of information about the programme you are watching as well as programmes on later (although sometimes it can be a little slow at updating). The only problem I have with the TV is that it seems to take a while for the channels to change and I have found it easier to change the channels through the TV guide.
I got this TV when it was on special offer (£299) but have noticed that it has now went back up in price. I don't think I would have purchased this TV at its full price as there are plenty of other TVs which are cheaper that would have done the same job. However, I am more than happy with the TV for the price I paid.
Summary: Good quality TV with clear picture and sound.
