I got this T.V about one month ago, the picture quality is amazing even on non HD channels. It is my first flat screen T.V i upgraded from an old JVC27 inch (which was about a foot deep. The T.V was very easy to set up, i'm currently running sky plus through it. all i had to do was lug the cables in and it worked without the need to do any additional setting or preference changes. It has many features such connectivity to a computer so it is like having a giant computer monitor. You can also plug a usb memory stick into the the side of the t.v and view pictures however i am not sure how this works as i have tried a few times and nothing happens, The T.V is surprisingly light as the old one took two people and a lot of struggling to lift it this one is very light, my main fear when i was looking at it in the shop was it looked top heavy. The stand at the bottom is tiny, and doesn't look very sturdy however i am pleasantly surprised it doesn't need any additional fixing or mounting to my t.v stand and is very stable, The remote functions are all very easy to use and understand and most buttons are familiar, but there is a picture in the supplied book that explains the not so familiar ones.
The pre installed speakers sound great i have only gone up to 25 (about a third of the way up) and that was really loud not tried maximum loudness but don't want to scare the dog,
i have the volume about 1/4 of the way up for normal use and it seems perfect, i listened to some really basey rock on the radio and it sounded good, better than i expected from a t.v but more like a quality sound system,
overall if your thinking of making the leap and updating from an old fashion t.v this is a good reasonably priced option you should consider.
My only problem now is trying to find a home for the pictures and the old clock that used to live on top of my old T.V.
