its performance. A sleek black elegant border and slim design shows off the picture quality to its best effect without any distractions. I have seen a lot of LCD screens in the shops but when I saw this one it just blew me away with its picture quality. Setting it all up was easy but the settings for the colour, contrast etc were far too high for my liking and after adjusting these controls to my satisfaction the picture was outstanding. Crisp, clear and vibrant. It boasts a reasonable 10000-1 contrast ratio which basically means there are 10,000 shades between the whitest white and blackest black. my ecperience of this TV was a short one of about 2 weeks while the Panasonic was being repaired but the only good thing I can say is the Sharp was better than nothing. Has taught me a lesson though. My local TV supplier has always offered to bring a new TV and install in in my own living room on an approval basis but I ve never taken advantage of the offer. For this amount of spend I don t think I will pass on it in future, on the face of it the Sharp sounds like a decent set but that s probably just the sales ...
