Advantages: Great picture and sound quality.

The sharp aquos LC-42XD1E is a perfect TV. Altough at first 42" seems very daunting if you have a medium-large size room it does not take over and goes very well. As soon as you turn this TV on the picture and sound quality hits you in the face with a BANG the people look so "real" although you may think this of your own TV you do not realise it till you see this television. The sliq modern design is very flattering, it is not very large on the back and from the front looks flat screen. The curved bottom makes it very aesthetically pleasing. The shiny black outer compliments the vivid colours that the screen gives out. The small base does not stand out and definatly doesnt take away from the amazing television. The only downfall from the whole TV is that occasionly it goes onto standby with no reasoning. As the TV comes with digital TV installed it means you do not need to waste money on purchasing a freeview box. Weather you are into watching hollywood blockbusters or just eastenders on a week night this TV is for you.
