rubbish at playing dvd picture quality but it s very good on this tv and even better on blu ray. When I got this tv, I got a free S Sharp BR player thrown in with the deal plus a tv stand, not sure if you will get that now but if you see this tv around, it s worth negotiating! When connecting blu ray, the tv automatically picks up and converts the signal into 1080p/24hrz so you can watch blu ray the way you are meant to! It also has a fantastic flicker rate/refresh rate of 4ms to ensure the best picture quality. Terrestrial tv quality is pretty decent for a tv of this kind and I ve got technical experience with tv s so I know tv pic quality isn t always so great. ...

would need to be turned off then on again, I am now into my 23rd month of owning this tv (i say tv loosely) and it will not come out of stand by, i have just got off the phone with supprt at SHARP UK who funnily enough feel i have had a good run with this tv, are not concerned with repairing it, and in there own way advised i buy a new tv.
