Bought this TV from Makro after spending a long time looking for a large television at a decent price. This was the one we went for. Picture quality is very good, we do not watch television or play DVDs in HD, so I cannot comment on that. However my partner does play his xbox 360 games in HD and says he can see the difference and that the quality is fantastic. Looks wise I think it is as good looking as a television can be. rubbish at playing dvd picture quality but it s very good on this tv and even better on blu ray. When I got this tv, I got a free S Sharp BR player thrown in with the deal plus a tv stand, not sure if you will get that now but if you see this tv around, it s worth negotiating! When connecting blu ray, the tv automatically picks up and converts the signal into 1080p/24hrz so you can watch blu ray the way you are meant to!
