We got this tv for a new room we have just done up. We wanted a large tv which played HD in full 1080P and looked good on the wall. We eventually found this Sharp Aquos and loved it. We saw it in a retail shop and the price was £1999.99 which is alot. We were going to buy it anyway but we went home just to check over its spec etc. We then found one of those sites which compares prices and we found one going for £1450 including VAT and postage. At first we were a bit worried about buying things like this online but the site had excellent ratings so we did it. The Sharp aquos LC-42XD1E is a perfect TV. Altough at first 42" seems very daunting if you have a medium-large size room it does not take over and goes very well. As soon as you turn this TV on the picture and sound quality hits you in the face with a BANG the people look so "real" although you may think this of your own TV you do not realise it till you see this television. The sliq modern design is very flattering, it is not very large on the back and from the front looks flat screen. The curved bottom makes it very aesthetically pleasing. The shiny black outer compliments the vivid colours that the screen gives out. The small base does not stand out and ...

I spent ages talking to sales staff in the shop s and eventually after finding a particularly helpful member of staff in Dixon s I bought the Sharp 42" TV and they even loaded it into the back of my car for me luckily I have an estate as I would have had no chance in a standard sized car. I took it home and when he came home from work he started having kittens when he saw what I had bought him. I had paid a very hefty £1100 but the look on his face was priceless as they say as is my credit card balance now lol. He quickly set about setting it up with me as an interested by stander and I must say it did seem very complicated to set up but then I am not ...
