Rating:
I bought this Sharp LC-42X20E last year and am extremely happy with its looks, and more importantly its performance. A sleek black elegant border and slim design shows off the picture quality to its best effect without any distractions. I have seen a lot of LCD screens in the shops but when I saw this one it just blew me away with its picture quality. Setting it all up was easy but the settings for the colour, contrast etc were far too high for my liking and after adjusting these controls to my satisfaction the picture was outstanding. Crisp, clear and vibrant. It boasts a reasonable 10000-1 contrast ratio which basically means there are 10,000 shades between the whitest ...

We got this tv for a new room we have just done up. We wanted a large tv which played HD in full 1080P and looked good on the wall. We eventually found this Sharp Aquos and loved it. We saw it in a retail shop and the price was £1999.99 which is alot. We were going to buy it anyway but we went home just to check over its spec etc. We then found one of those sites which compares prices and we found one going for £1450 including VAT and postage. At first we were a bit worried about buying things like this online but the site had excellent ratings so we did it. We paid for it and we didn t expect it to arrive for another week or so but 2 days later it was here brand new in ...

bit more up to date. After looking at numerous 28? wide screen TVs and being put off by the sheer size of them I opted for an LCD. Sharp seem to be one of the leaders in LCD technology and having read the reviews for this TV I took the leap and went for it. Rather than pay £2250 for it in a retail shop I went through a number of Internet sites and found it online for £1500. Once out of the box, setting it up is relatively simple although I think that the manual should identify which scart sockets in the separate AV unit are for which source slightly earlier than page 42. This separate unit means that there is only one lead and the power lead going into the back of ...
