If I had bought this as a replacement and paid the sort of money (£1000 plus) I would have been very disappointed; not a happy bunny at all. Some of the differences might be attributable to the LCD versus Plasma debate and I would say, for this size of screen, Plasma wins hands down. This set just didn t have what it takes; colour, definition, contrast whatever it was a long way below par compared to the fantastic Panasonic. OK, my ecperience of this TV was a short one of about 2 weeks while the Panasonic was being repaired but the only good thing I can ...

t have yet. I spent ages talking to sales staff in the shop s and eventually after finding a particularly helpful member of staff in Dixon s I bought the Sharp 42" TV and they even loaded it into the back of my car for me luckily I have an estate as I would have had no chance in a standard sized car. I took it home and when he came home from work he started having kittens when he saw what I had bought him. I had paid a very hefty £1100 but the look on his face was priceless as they say as is my credit card balance now lol. He quickly set about setting it up with me as an interested by stander and I must say it did seem very complicated to set up but then I am not ...

of aestheticism, of course, was to purchase a new silver 17 inch Widescreen LCD television! Dogs gonads! Following some extensive research (basically dependent on price), we opted for the Sharp LC-17SH1E, a gorgeous, sexy looking TV at the tremendously good price of £297, from Digital Direct. The price currently seems to range between £297 to £400, so a bargain! Get on with it man! .. Oh, OK. * Anyway, what s an LCD Television? * Oh sorry, didn t you know? It s the latest technology; it s slim and sleek and flat and … er …slim. Well I don t know really, so I d better just dig up some basics….. LCD stands for "Liquid Crystal Display" and these televisions ...
