I purchased my Sony Bravia KDL-32L4000 32 inch television in January 2009 from my local Sainsbury's superstore for around £300.00; a fantastic price for such a decent LCD flat screen television. Fitting and tuning the television was easy because the manual was very well written in simple steps.
The television is extremely light for its size, which makes wall mounting it a lot easier than it could be. Instead of purchasing the recommended Sony wall bracket, which I was quoted £80.00 for in a Sony Centre, I went to a B&Q superstore and paid around £40.00 for a bracket which does exactly the same job; I'd recommend people do this because the bracket is good and a lot cheaper. The television is now pride a place on the wall opposite out bed and looks great. I'm pleased we went for the black model because it looks very slick against the light wall behind. The 32" option was a good choice too as it is not to small and not too big for the size of our bedroom; I was worried in case it looked over the top and tacky, but it is absolutely fine.
Tuning the television was easy, according the manual you just click the auto tune feature and it takes care of everything, tuning digitally into the built in Freeview; I thought it was bound to go wrong because it looked quite complicated, but it was superb and connected to all of the channels in a couple of minute.
The picture quality is very good and it is also HD ready, we haven't got this yet, but I'm sure we will do in the near future. The sound is also of a high standard and I was amazed how high the volume can go, which is good if you are having a party and want to crank the music channels up!
For gamers and film buffs the television has connections for DVD and games consoles at the bottom left hand side. This is good because it makes them easily accessible even when wall mounted like ours is. A negative thing is that the aerial connection is not at the side and goes directly into the back, which means that once tightly wall mounted you have to slacken everything off to access it again; but this is not too much of an issue and seeing as this is the only bad thing that I have to say about the set I'm not too bothered! Overall, it's a fantastic television and I'm very happy with it. Well, recommended!

I bought this tv in Dec 2008 when my trusty old Goodmans decided that enough was enough and totally packed in.I went to Argos and bought this for £491 AFTER DECIDING TO PAY A BIT EXTRA AND GO FOR A SET THAT ID HEARD WAS A QUALITY PRODUCT.I wasnt disappointed.
The set is so light and was easy to set up,with auto tuning it found all the channels quickly, and i fixed it down to my old stand.
The lcd picture quality is superb and the sound is clear and loud enough even on volume setting of 15.
This tv is hd ready also.
This must be a superb tv to have with surround sound speakers attached!
The screen is about the right size at 32 inches.
What i do like is that the on/off,channel and volume buttons are on top of the set away from the reach of small children.
There are also connections on the back for gaming consoles and 2 scart lead connections. You could also connect your pc too if required. Also has a connection for headphones.
All in all a quality set that is worth paying a bit extra for and doesnt disappoint.Has a nice remote too.
I was very impressed with this TV when I added it to my already immense collection of electrical devices last week (by collection, I mean I do actually use all these devices, I'm not that sad.)
Look and Design
Simple, but classy. The TV is plain black with no real defining features, however, it looks well made and this simple design means it doesn't look out of place in any room.
Pretty good, it is very clear and is also good for dark sceens, which on some TVs you cannot see very well. Another thing I have noticed about this TV is that it's possible to be only a few degrees away from side on to it and your view is not affected, this means that it is unlikely this TV will call for any major re-arangements of furniture.
Even though I have seen better speakers than this TV's, I was still quite impressed with them. They were loud, clear and the sound was realistic and did not sound hollow. However, If I were using this as a living room/ lounge TV rather than a small TV for another room, I would probably buy a surround sound system for it.
The TV was very easy to set up, the remote control was simple and easy to use, the TV worked well with all of the games consoles I have tried on it. I had a quick flick through the instruction manual that came with it for the purpose of this review and it seemed to be informative and easy to understand.
All in all, a great, good value TV
