Picture screen ratio can be adjusted (and will adjust itself automatically) so no more clipping of subtitles. (As was a problem with previous Sony TVs.)
There are better alternatives for sound quality even though the sound is stereo, it sounds almost mono.
The only other thing you could ask for is a hard drive to save programmes on to?

Owned for 4 months and found that this is sensitive to any electrical interference. Especially near power shower units. We had to buy a new digital aerial as well as moving its location to solve the problem. The freeview menus are not the most user friendly unlike the Toshiba freeview box I have in another room. It is slow to change freeview channels as well as starting it up/power on. Pleased to say its a very lightweight monitor. Setting up the new TV was very easy and only takes a few minutes.
