tv, i bought it in 2007 from comet brixton, i was offered an extra warranty but decided to decline it because i have contents insurance. I paid £1099 for the 40 inch bravia lcd. Two weeks later me and my partner were looking at other products in comet and i decided to look at the tv section to my surprise my tv was there under another offer £1149 including the glass stand and a surround sound with 6 speakers. I spoke to the manager and whinged a bit and then offered me the rest of the package for £50. I was well chuffed. From someone who had a HD subscription I can say it works really well with our HD box and the picture is amazing. It was easy to set up in itself but we have it attached to a stand so the TV looks as if it is floating just above the stand and the wires are hidden (looks well). We set it up with the HD box as soon as we bought it but in recent times and the current economical climate, we reduced our sky package so it does not include the high definition service. Yes HD is amazing, but in all honesty, the normal picture that this TV provides is pretty amazing too.
