Great, Great, Great, POOR!
Member Name: Omblae
Advantages: Great picture, Great movement.
Disadvantages: SOUND! cumbersome menus and annoying controller
Brilliant quality of picture, with a decent HDMI it's really worth owning simply because it feels as if you are really right there - Sony have done made it very nicely, it runs well and the picture does not blur or fade at any time like my old LG used to. Furthermore the responsiveness of the picture means that crispness and brilliant movement are the forte of this machine.
The menus are easy enough to navigate but i sometimes felt as if they were a little basic and far too slow. The remote provided looks a little dated and the buttons are arranged a little badly, not only that but sometimes it takes so long to respond that you press the button again and it gets rid of the menu!
But the real fault with this T.V is the sound, it is absolutely shocking - the speakers provided are just not up to scratch and i find myself constantly cranking up the tinny sound to hear basically very little. Really poor in my eyes.
Also, the USB dongle which Sony helpfully does not provide is £70! And you have to buy it as an extra if you want internet T.V! Daylight robbery!
Summary: Good T.V but could use some work, including user-friendliness and sound.
