Believe the hype; 200hz is worth the money! I've had a gift voucher for Comet for a long time now and I've been studying all types of TV's most weekends. We acquired this magnificent piece of appliance last December. Dad wanted an upgrade of his Sony Wega TV to plasma or an LCD TV. Although, there's no problem with the Wega model for us in the past 5 yrs now, he was so impressed by it every time we went to the mall and keeps on nagging me how wish he could have one. Sony's KDL-40Z4500 has surpassed the Pioneer 9th Generation (60" Kuro) for detail, Colour, Contrast, Brightness and even Blacks. Fast moving High Definition (1080i) sports and Bluray movies are a treat to watch with no visible motion Blur, Judder or Ghosting. Pioneer's do not handle (Heat Haze!). Watching standard definition and movies are great to watch. DVD's with a descent upscaler are also excellant to watch. I have carefully watched over time the inherited problems that come with the current range of Plasma's and LCDs.
