Ready to be blown away? Good. This is yet another example of high quality goods being made by Sony. The 46 inch screen is a great size and this is the kind of size TV that will just about manage to squeeze into most homes. The bigger 55 inch beasts seem to be more reserved for the richer families among us, but do not fear the 46 incher is here! This TV does not let you down on any front. The definition is great and unlike some others it doesn t dim itself down just because it believes you only appreciate the size. Recently there has only been one make when it comes to televisions, Sony . There has also only been one brand that embodies the quality of the item, Bravia. This 46" Widescreen LCD version certainly lives up the name. HD ready with full 1080p resolution means that watching anything on this screen is simply a joyful experience. I must admit, I did not totally buy into the whole "HD" thing when it first arrived on the scene. Since seeing Planet Earth at a friend s house though I was completely sold, the detail was incredible. input. The TV comes in a matt black finish and also the Sony stand is the same. The TV itself looks well built however, it would look better in a piano black finish, but as this is a low budget TV the matt black looks good. One the great things about this Sony TV is that you are able to move the TV around while they are on the stand to get a better viewing angle to where you are seated. Would I recommend this TV to you, No. Not now as for the same price that I paid for purchasing this TV you can now get a much better spec one for the same size. But if you would have asked me a year back, then I would have said yes, as it is a great budget line 46" ...
