Rating:
Recently there has only been one make when it comes to televisions, Sony . There has also only been one brand that embodies the quality of the item, Bravia. This 46" Widescreen LCD version certainly lives up the name. HD ready with full 1080p resolution means that watching anything on this screen is simply a joyful experience. I must admit, I did not totally buy into the whole "HD" thing when it first arrived on the scene. Since seeing Planet Earth at a friend s house though I was completely sold, the detail was incredible. Suddenly the days of grainy attempts trying to work out the species of ape I was looking at, only to realise it was David Attenbourgh, ...

Rating:
at 2-3 metres away at least, any closer and you will notice fuzziness. Viewing the screen at an angle is fine. Picture screen ratio can be adjusted (and will adjust itself automatically) so no more clipping of subtitles. (As was a problem with previous Sony TVs.) There are better alternatives for sound quality even though the sound is stereo, it sounds almost mono. The only other thing you could ask for is a hard drive to save programmes on to? Bought from a small high street retailer (That s Hi-Fi) for £870 with 3 years warranty. Now in the shops for just over £700 with 5 years ...

Sony KDL-32U2000E
by Gingaro - written on 16/05/07 (Very useful, 423 readings)
Rating:
When moving into our new flat I managed to get the main television, a 50” Sony Bravia KDF-E50A12U from A to B, up 3 flights of stairs and through a narrow doorway without any hassle at all, but managed to completely destroy our bedroom television, therefore a replacement was needed. After being extremely pleased with the ease of set up, down right amazing performance and relatively cheap price of our other Bravia we decided that the replacement should also be a flat screen rear projection HD ready television and, if possible, a Sony Bravia. After much searching we couldn’t find a rear projection television cheap enough so opted for the Sony Bravia KDL-32U2000 an LCD ...
