Bought this TV pre christmas from Amazon with 3 years free warranty. It is an excellent tv .... the picture quality is amazing - watching sports on it makes it look and feel like you are there in the thick of it with the players. The sound quality is ok - it is plenty loud enough etc but probably could do with sound surround sound speakers to thoroughly take advantage of the feeling of being at the cinema which this really does have. When searching for the tv I considered the w4000 but there is a gap at the base of the tv leading to the speakers which aesthetically I didn't like hte look of so preferred this one. If you have spare cash at the moment to treat yourself then this is the tv I would definitely recommend. Great prices if you search around the internet as well almost 40% cheaper than direct from sony!
