The Sony KDL-40W5500 is one of the best Sony TVs that is on the market. This is the TV that i have placed in my living room. The quality of the picture is amazing especially when it is hooked up to a high definition source. I personally have it hooked up through HDMI cables to my Sky HD box and my PS3, both produce high quality feed to the Sony KDL-40W5500. The 40" picture is really good, you can clearly see the fine detail in each of the tiny pixels. i bought this product mostly because of the brand. i intentionally went to a Sony Centre and was advised by the sales assistant to purchase this particular model. i bought Sony because of its good reputation and high ...

quite easy to accidentally skip this part of the set up but you can run it again from the Guide as I did so it s no problem. in USE The remote is light, functional, and refreshingly uncluttered with most of the functions being menu driven onscreen. The blue Home button puts you into a familiar PS3/PSP style horizontal menu (XrossMediaBar) which has all the detailed settings, or you can use the Options button for more basic choices. With BraviaSync, you can control other Sony devices but sadly not the PS3...yet. ground went dark and a light object went on the screen it left a long trail of light behind it.Made evrything look like it was in some sort of special effects mode,which in turn made me have to close my eyes as i felt dizzy.The sound on it is dreadful i had to have it turned up full to hear it from my sof, and no i do not have a hearing aid.After a week of having the tv i took it back to get a full refund and told my mate what it hough.I would avoid this it all costs and it has put me off purchasing another sony tv.On the plus side it does look good in piao black but dont turn it on because you will be ...
