... The song is worth the extra money. The tv has more than enough ports to connect dvd player, ps3 etc. There is also a socket which allows you to connect your laptop or computer, allowing the tv to be used as a screen. Sony KDL-26S5500 ... else is all your furniture pointing at?) and with this digital switchover approaching faster than a whippet on steroids people are having to buy either a digital box for there old faithful television or a brand new television with built in digital. Anyway, I have had the pleasure of having a dig box which was plugged into the bedroom television, but when I recently saw a cracking offer on a Sony television with built in freeview I jumped at the chance to replace my old faithful television in the bedroom, (not a lot else happens in the bedroom these days anymore...) Sony KDL-46S2530U ... brightness and contrast ratios. But as the TV has a low ratio it does mean that from close up the TV picture quality does not look as good, so it is only good to watch from a distance. The TV has great sound output and a two HDMI inputs. Something that it is missing would be an HDMI port on the side of the TV and also it misses the USB input. The TV comes in a matt black finish and also the Sony stand is the same. The TV itself looks well built however, it would look better in a piano black finish, but as this is a low budget TV the matt black looks good. Sony KDL-40W5500 ... are just about the top of the league when it comes to audovisual fare. The Sony KDL40W5500 accordingly costs a pretty penny although if you know where to go it can be had for a pretty reasonable cost compared to lesser rivals. The set may look pretty but there are prettier rivals. The picture, when used with your own digital service or DVD, is pretty good with sharp colours and clear images. The sound is clear and distinct. I would recommend that you hang this set well out of the way since the screen easily picks up smudges from little fingers and pens/pencils can easily damage the rather fragile screen.
