Sony KDL-52X3500 ... ago and I ve been overjoyed with it. Out of the box you get the TV, a robust table-top stand and the remote control. The first thing that strikes you about the X series is the aesthetics. It doesn t have the bog standard piano black finish that is featured on 95% of flat panels. What you get is a nice, refined brushed gun metal bezel, housed in a clear plastic frame with metal casing. The Sony logo lights up blue on use of the set, which is a nice touch. Sony KDL-32W5500 ... have just purchased a Sony KDL-32W5500 from 1staudiovisual.co.uk as after spending days trawling the net I was unable to beat their price. I have not used this company before and was as delighted with their service as I was with their price. I chose the KDL-32W5500 as I was looking for a medium sized TV with a good level of connectivity options and specifically USB and this model seemed to fit the bill. I have still not totally got my head around the little widgets but find features such as the world clock to be very useful as I have relatives in several countries overseas. Sony KDL-37W5500 ... Sony W series has a quite good reputation as a dependable and good quality picture TV. However, as the 37" is a relatively uncommon size in Sony TV s in most shops in the UK it will be over priced. The 40 inch version will be better value. Also, regarding the speck a trait that can often be found in Sony TV s is that they will have a similar series with quite similar speck but at a lower price. Usually it is the V series that will be cheaper version of the Sony W. Regarding the W5500 speck, it has all that most people will want: it is full HD 1080p, and 100hz.
