... TV is outstanding! We had tried the Sharp TV of the same size because Sharp has a good name and was a few hundred dollars cheaper than the Sony. However, we experienced issues with the Sharp - it has problems when showing analog channels with the channel indicator flickering on screen every minute or two. Sony KDL-32V4000 ... better than the previous. It looks great. It has a gloss finish to it, including on the stand and is of a nice size in terms of width. Setting it up could not have been any easier. You simply attach the TV to the stand, secure 5 screws and you re done. The built in Freeview is also easy to set up. You just press DTV on the remote and then use the auto scanner to get all the channels. Sony are known for high quality as this is the same here. I use the TV primarily for Blu Ray and gaming and the picture is very good. It runs games in 720p most of the time with the odd exception where it will change to 1080i. Sony KDL-32W4000 ... have had our Sony KDL-32W400 for just over a week and the picture is brilliant. This is our second Sony Bravia LCD television our first was a 26 inch which we were very pleased with. When we went to get our new tv we decide to go for a larger television with a 32 inch screen. I have no idea how easy it is to set up as our local independant electrical store unpacked and set it up for us. They made it look very quick and easy. The picture is really clear with excellent definition and contrast from all angles, although the screen swivels on its base as well. Handy for dusting behind it.
