Advantages: Bigger than you expect, glossy screen, good contrast & brightness, HD ready, freeview .

Disadvantages: costly, lack of new technology e . g . HDMi,

Well I'll try to keep this nice and short as possible, as I don't think it's unnecessary to write a full fledged review.

My initial impression of it was that it is bigger than I thought it would be in terms of screen size. A have a cousin who has a 20'' LCD TV & another who has a 20'' LCD monitor and this seemed noticeably bigger.
If you had been browsing the internet looking for more info on this TV set. You may know that this model still retails at least around £150-200 cheapest even though the model has been on the market for quite some time (at least 2 years). Though if you look carefully enough you may be able to get it alot under that price (second-hand, ebay).

The Tv itself is quite good, the screen is glossy black not the film stuff they use on the cheapo tv's.
When switched on and viewing SD content it certainly does do a good job of displaying it, as an extra option you do have things like noise reduction etc. to adjust as you like.
If you have looked at the specs it certainly does support HD, and this is particularly where it does shine. Viewing HD content on it is just as good as most current LCD sets, mainly the benefit of it's high contrast ratio, level of brightness and it's maximum resolution just being higher
than the norm (1366x768).
It does fall short on some levels though, mainly because of the age of the set. It has been on the market for about 2 years now, and mainly because of that certain technological aspects such as HDMI and 1080i/p support are integrated into it.

I do have to say this if you can afford to buy this brand new I wouldn't recommend it. There are TV sets with better specifications at the same price on the market currently and I would recommend checking them out.
If you do however see the as a cheap functional second hand unit then
within your reason go for it.
