We have had this TV as our main lounge TV for a while now and it is still doing a superb job for us. But first the basics:
* 26 inch screen
* 16:9 aspect ratio
* Integrated digital tuner (Freeview)
* HD Ready (720p)
2 x HDMI input ( 19 pin HDMI Type A )
1 x component video input ( RCA phono x 3 )
1 x SCART ( 21 PIN SCART )
1 x headphones ( mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm )
1 x composite video/audio input ( RCA phono x 3 )
1 x audio line-in ( RCA phono x 2)
We mainly use SKY trough the SCART socket and the picture quality is great, the colours are just what you want them to be nice and bright and clear both in HD (we have a Blu Ray player). We have had to use the Freeview channels as well and these have worked really well too. And it also has very good sound quality through its stereo speakers. We don't have a huge lounge so the 26inch screen is more than adequate.
The remote is easy to use and quick to navigate around. Set up was a breeze, just the usual couple of screws for the base of the set then a quick and simple on screen set up, which it pretty much does everything for you with just a few clicks of the remote.
Admittedly this set is a couple of years old and has been surpassed by the quality you can get for the price we paid (around £250), but it is likely that you can find a second hand one or a cheap new one this would make the perfect set for a small lounge or maybe a set in the bedroom or a kids playroom.
