As a newcomer to DOOYOO, I spent a considerable time browsing through several items. I took a nostalgic trip down the memory lane of CRT reviews, Toshiba 32zp18, in particular. This company's offerings were labelled 'picture frame', and, justifiably, received great reviews. This is well supported by dooyoo owners of those sets. For my part, I owned two such sets: picture frame 1 and picture frame 3,or32zp18. Regrettably, both sets developed faults which could not be corrected. As I had purchased the 32zp18 at a time when crts were clearly becoming extinct, the engineer wrote 'POOR CRT', and I never saw the set again. " It's the tube", he said "They won't replace it". As the model was discontinued,I was refunded in full. The tv which I considered the best I had ever owned was gone. In spite of my experience, I simply put it down to bad luck and, for a considerable time ,searched unsuccessfully for a replacement 32zp18. Picture and sound were stunning. In the end, I bought, what must have been one of the remaining few SONY 32" WEGA LCD, before they were replaced by the BRAVIA. The Sony wega engine, in my view, does the best job in picture enhancing, without annoying the viewer. Great LCD, but, I have to say, I still mourn the passing of my32zp18, and the CRT system itself. Would you believe? I am still on the lookout for one. My wife says it's madness! I say, bring back the CRT.
