Fantastic Value Television.
Member Name: oligraham
Advantages: Cheap, high quality picture, lots of ports
Disadvantages: Difficult to place scart leads in the back when on a wall, old model
I purchased this TV for £299 in June 2009 and two and a half years later it is still functioning perfectly.
When purchasing the TV there were other TVs available at different sites for about £10 less but this was a much better investment as it has a significantly higher contrast rate than some cheap unbranded TVs wheras this has a very high contrast rate which makes the picture quality very good.
The TV came with a remote control, stand, lead and manual so everything you need to set it up.
Although it may not be full HD for me 720p with a 1366 X 768 resolution was enough for me and it is difficult to tell the difference with most things.
There are 3 HDMI ports, 3 on the back and 1 on the side, a composite connection on the side, 2 scart connections and a computer input connection, so there are many connections for your various DVD players, Sky boxes, games consoles etc.
The main downside for me is that I have this TV up on the wall and with all the scart ports being on the back means it is difficult to plug in any scart leads without having the TV pushed up off the wall. This wouldn't be a problem if you have it on the stand (which is included).
Overall this is a fantastic budget TV and if you can get it cheap now would suit anybody well with high quality picture and build.
Summary: A great budget TV that lasts a long time.
