I bought this TV about 9 months ago; my first HD TV. It can be a bit daunting with so many TVs out there, but in the end I settled for this one and I'm glad I did.
Many of the cheaper HD TVs on sale at the time were only 720p, which wasn't what I wanted. This TV caught my eye as it was full 1080p and was very well priced; not too expensive that I couldn't afford it, and not too cheap that I was concerned about the quality.
It comes with a number of features, such as built in Freeview and upscaling to crispen standard definition channels a little. I use a third party digital box for my TV so I can't comment on the built in Freeview, however I have fiddled about with the upscaling, and in all honestly I can't see any difference at all. I wouldn't worry about that though, in the fairly distant future everything'll be broadcast in HD, so this feature will eventually be redundant.
The TV comes with a vast array of ports, which is great if you have numerous games consoles and digital boxes. The build quality's pretty good and doesn't feel cheap, but it does lack the sleekness that more expensive TVs tend to have.
I have had a few issues where the picture freezes for a few seconds whilst the audio carries on, with the TV turning itself off and back on again a few seconds later. These occurrences are relatively rare and are only a minor annoyance, but it is something to watch out for.
All in all, if you're looking for a well priced full 1080p HD TV, this is definitely one to consider.
