I purchased the Toshiba 32ZP18P about 2 months after it came out having previously owned a 32Z17P(the pro-logic model)
The difference in quality of both sound and picture is very impressive.
This model has a beautiful modern sleek appearance with the four satellite speakers totally separate from the screen enabling it to give a wider sound stage than normally possible.
I have it connected to digital sky, VCR and a Playstation 2 and I use it to play CD's and listen to the radio, the sound reproduction is that good. The inclusion of a subwoofer makes a huge difference to films and music alike.
The picture and dynamics of the set is also very good almost no alteration is needed to standard settings and although the lack of gadget and gizmos may put some people off, the feeling is of quality by design rather than blandness.
The only drawback I have found is if I wanted to purchase sky+ which has a dolby digital output, the only input on the TV is used by the PS2. I think Toshiba should have foreseen this.
All in all although it is more than I wanted to pay for a TV (£1499) it incorporates all of the above in a neat and tidy package that enhances my living room rather than an ugly box of mess wires and speakers which I think is worth a bit extra.
