wont be short of choice no matter what you are watching. The sound quality is very good (not quite excellent) although it can be a little bit on the low side when playing normal DVDs. However, its not really a major issue. If you like your surround sound you can always hook up a set of speakers. in short I think this TV is a great piece of kit. I m very happy with my purchase. PVR satellite receiver connected to it via HDMI and the HD quality is excellent. When switching the set on, it automatically selects the last input source which is great. No need to select the HDMI input. The TV is a little slow to turn on. However, as it uses less that 1watt in stand bye this is a small price to pay! the first generation of HD TV s to hit the market and wanted to upgrade not only the size of the screen, but the pixel resolution too. in a nutshell, what attracted me to this television set was the fact that it can display a true HD image, also known as 1080p. This, number basically represents 1080 lines being progressively displayed on a screen at any one time. If you were also one of the adopters of the earlier HD LCD TV s like me, chances are would be that your screen only display s images upto 1080i.
