The 37XV635DB is an absolute stunner! I bought this TV in June last year, and to be honest is meets all my requirements and more. The 1080pHD display is perfectly clear and the Resolution+ really does help to enhance SD pictures nearly on par with 720pHD. It is eco-friendly and is much much cooler running than the TV in place before it. I have run this for hours and the display never gets hot. The menu is easy to navigate and I believe custom names can be set for the inputs. There is also a Freeview tuner, but I am unable to test this functionality. A couple of little niggles: It does not support 1080p24 for Blu-Ray playback, but this is unnoticable when watching a film. ...
Toshiba 37C3030DA somewhat disappointing TV given its repute and pricetag. (331 words)

In terms of performance, this TV has all the standard bits & bobs. It has an in-built digital TV tuner thereby eliminating the need for a freeview box. The remote is simple, but feels and looks a lot cheaper than the TV itself. The plastics are of a worse quality ...

recommended by a friend. This LCD TV is very good. I was astonished by how little it was when we brought it home from the shop and put it in place. It s very easy to set up and the picture quality is very good. When you switch on for the first time you ll be greeted by an automatic setup that will tune in the aerial. The set features built in freeview. It comes with 2 x scart and 2 x HDMI slots for DVD players, set top boxes etc and a PC slot to connect your laptop or PC with the use of a monitor cable (audio cable also needed for sound). One downside is when pausing a DVD or TV for a long period of time the image seems to get burned onto the screen (called ghosting ...
