We have just bought this TV for the front room downstairs. All of our other TV's in the house are samsungbut after seeing this TV next to the Samsung we decided it was a better picture and it was cheaper!

The Tv is very good quality. It is Full HD which means it can run things like a PS3 and a Sky Hd box in 1080p. Some TV's may say they are HD ready but that isnt the same quslity as Full HD. If you are planning on having a HD DVD player or something like that then you need a Full HD tv. If you are not fussed about HD then simply buy a TV that is Hd ready and you will save a bit of money or you can get a bigger one for the same price! If the HD thind confuses you just know that 1080p reffers to the resolution of the picture.This TV has a resolution of 1920x1080p. This is a very high resolution and means you will get a very very good picture. The contrast ratio is 18000:1: all of this means is the picture is great. You will see quite a few Full HD tv's that are not that high!

The picture is very bright also. Not too bright but its provides optimal viewing! The difference was noticable when I viewed this TV next to a Samsung and a Sharp model. I was suprised by how muchbrighter and clearer the picture was. The colours are brilliant and everything looks fantastic!

Another good thing is the amount of inputs on the back of the TV. There are a coule of scart inputs incase you have an old Sky box that still uses this cable. There is an S-video input and a component input. There is also three HDMI inputs. If you are wanting to use HD DVD layers of sky boxes or games consoles this is the input you need. It makes life much easier having three!

Also for the environment friendly among you there is an off switch that takes the TV off standby. The samsung model and a few others do not have this which strikes me as odd but you dont have to worryabout that here!

The look of the TV is really quite nice. Its sleek and inoffensive. It doesnt look that huge as the rim around the screen is quite small. We were worried about getting a 42 " TV thinking it would look insane. With this 37" screen though it not only looks good but the actual quality will be better with a slightly smaller screen!

The sound quality is great. It has a speaker running along the bottom of the screen. Some LCD TV's have rear speakers which are terrible for bigge rooms. With the front speaker it is not also clearer but doesnt sound like it has reverb on it due to it bouncing off a wall or something. If you want surround sound its easy to instal on the TV but unless your in a huge room you dont need it too much!

The stand is very sturdy and provides some movement for positioning. The bottom of the stand has some pretty good suckers that stop any movement on slippy surfaces! Also if you hate installing TV's and tuning channels it is as simple as pressing OK on this TV. It does it all for you! The guides are then easy to navigate and show you whats on now and next!

This cost us £570 which is very good. You can get it cheaper from the net but that will mean you do not get a warranty. Our came with a free 5 year warranty as its from costco. If you want a warranty go to costco and become a member for £20. You will still be saving over £100! Also if your buying for a buisness (display TV's or something) you can always get your VAT back so its only going to be around £500 for you. Bargain! This is a reasonable price for a TV in this category (size an specs). I persoanlly do not think any of the other TV's are as good as this. I guess sometimes you end up paying for the name on TV's but with a 5 year warranty it shouldnt worry you to get a make like Toshiba that are pretty under rated really!
