I shopped around a lot before choosing this TV as I wanted one that would do everything I needed and at a reasonable price. I finally purchased it from Amazon as this was where it was available for the best price (and Amazon's free delivery) when I bought it. I found quite a lot of confusion between the 37XV503 and the 37XV505 models when I was choosing a TV - the only difference I can establish is that the 503 has a black surround while the 505 is silver though there may be more to it than this.
