games and films in 1080p, and it really has been worth it. Very easy to set everything up with my Virgin box and the PS3, it s got connectivity for 2 HDMI cables (as well as the usual array of scart sockets etc), which for nearly everyone is enough. The picture is superb, with vivid colours and the sound from the in built ...

technical jargon and a myriad of functions that I probably would nt use and would only leave me confused, so thats why I chose this one. This is a 42 inch rear projection TV with 100Hz processing and is also a CRT model (Cathode Ray Tube) Not exactly sure what CRT means but these models will give better picture and colour quality and a longer life-span than an LCD or Plasma screen, It comes in a subtle metalic silver colour and has Teletext with fast text, the remote control is the same silver colour and is very easy to use and understand, Looking at the front of the TV, there is only one press button for on/off or standby, apart from that the front is flush with no ...

it and sought a new choice. I should have remembered that my old 28 inch nicam which was still rock solid after 9 years was also a Toshiba - funny how I did not notice that logo on the bottom. I was influences by the reports in "Home Cinema" and similar magazines. I suppose they have their uses, but take the reports with a pinch of salt. I remember when I bought a "What Video" star best buy, and the pciture was the pits. Anyway, the Tosh was two grand, against a Hitachi at £1900 or Sony at £2100+. Philips was abundant in store, but ruled out as their own service personnel admited that 4 had been returned that week. I would have gone for ...
