I was provided with this TV in my rented house, it replaced a slightly smaller Samsung LCD. The look of the TV is simple, nothing outstanding but equally nothing wrong with it.
The picture is not as good as we got on an older Samsung LCD, image isn't as sharp or clear.
Sound is fine, noticed no difference to any other TV model I have viewed.
The TV guide is frustrating, the default view shows 'Now and Next' instead of the more intuitive time guide which can be accessed by pressing the yellow button. This would be fine, except it is often very slow to react and buttons have to be pressed numerous times when in the TV guide function to get a response. It is also slightly annoying that when on the TV guide the sound and picture both completely disappear, I prefer models that show a small square of picture, but this is personal preference.
There are various ports on the back of the TV, 3HDMI connections which I find very useful and often play shows via BBC Iplayer etc on the TV by connecting an iPad or laptop, therefore I personally see no need in spending more money on an TV with internet connection.
