Regatta 2 Man Pop Up Tent Set

If you go to festivals, this is exactly what you need.
You and a friend should pitch in (no pun intended) and get this. Shop about for prices, as it costs very different prices everywhere you go.
Lugging this thing about is a little embarrassing at first, as wearing it like a backpack makes you look like a giant ... turtle, which can be fun if you've already started drinking, but it makes up for it's stupid look with simplicity and how light it is.
All you do is take it out of the case and throw it out, and your tent is up, while everyone else is putting sticks through material and probably forgetting pieces. Just remember the pegs, or that thing is flying away.
It's quite small, so it is only to throw yourself in and sleep in. It definitely isn't to go on camping holidays in.
It's just as easy to put away, just a quick twist and you can shove it back in the bag. It takes around 30 seconds to pack it away.
The additional items are just as simple, but I'd recommend buying your sleeping bag separately, as the ones that come with this aren't very comfortable. Read the complete review |

Argos 2 Person Dome Tent
by kissandmakeup
I recently bought this tent for my 16 year old son as we were going to V festival for the weekend and we didn't want to spend much or have a tent that was a drama to put up and I'd already arranged to share with my friend.
We bought in a sale at Asda and it cost us only £10, which is cheap enough to not worry about whether it ... got ruined. As soon as we bought it we had a trial run at putting it up and it only took us about 10 minutes, very simple.
To be honest as it got nearer the time we were a bit unsure whether it would be that great if the rain was really bad (as it only has a single layer, it doesn't have an inner tent) as we had heard that some of these types of tents, pop up tents and the like, were not good in very wet weather. But we decided that if it wasn't much use he could always squish in with someone else and we'd just use it for storing our rucksacks etc.
In the event however it was perfect for what we needed. My son is around 6 ft and whilst the tent only looked tiny he managed to fit in it no problem. The weather was not that brilliant and there was quite heavy rain as well as it being quite windy but the tent stayed bone dry inside. It is described as a two man tent but if you had two people in there I'm not quite sure where you would put your stuff, it would be a little uncomfortable to say the least! I suppose if the two people were children or if you were travelling light and just staying in it for one night you could just about manage.
There is really nothing fancy about it, no porch bit or anything like that but he managed fine and for the price we really couldn't ask for anything more.
It isn't the most brilliant tent in the world but it is light to carry, easy to put up, cheap enough not to worry about and does it's job pretty well. Read the complete review |

Regatta 2 Man Pop Up Tent Set

My daughter announced that she really wanted to go camping consulting the diary unbelievably I couldn't find any space in which we could manage a camping trip however after chatting with my Brother about summer holidays he reminded me of how our Dad would pitch the tent at the beginning of the holidays and we would sleep in the garden ... for pretty much the whole of the holidays and what happy days they were! We were heading to stay with family and so we decided we could combine the little ones desire to camp with this visit.
I remember tents with lots of poles that seemed to take forever to put up not so with this particular tent it comes in a round bag that is flat and so takes minimal room in the car and you open the bag and out pops the tent it is literally a 5 minute job and that includes blowing up the air bed!
Comfort
This little tent is double lined preventing moisture getting in and yes it was very comfortable apart from their being 4 of us in the tent! I would say it is plenty big enough for two adults or one adult and two children.
Cost and stockist:
Right at the moment is the best time to get a tent we purchased from Argos and paid a measly £17.49 the previous price being £49.99! www.argos.co.uk.
Recommendation
We had a fabulous weekend tent experience and I would recommend this for a couple of nights if looking for a week long experience I personally would want more space but right know at the price it is you really cannot go wrong a absolute steal. Read the complete review |
