Advantages: quick and easy to erect, roomy, reasonably priced

Disadvantages: more difficult to erect in windy conditions

I use my Khyam Screenhouse when I go off to dog shows. It is incredibly easy to put up because there are no poles to fit together, the poles are already joined to the canvas and it's just a case of straightening the legs so that the joints clip into place. I can get the Screenhouse up and pegged down on my own in less than 10 minutes. It's only a problem for one person if it's windy because it is a very light tent.

It's ideal for dog shows because it provides shade without getting really hot inside. The front and back open up completely. You can either roll the canvas up or make it into a canopy using the poles that are provided. Inside the canvas on all four sides is a black netting flyscreen. This will roll up on the front and back sides but remains fixed on the other 2 sides, although you can roll up the canvas on these 2 sides allowing some air to blow through the netting.

The Screenhouse is quite roomy. You can buy the inner sleeping compartment for it for an extra £80 (I think) but I have no need for this.

When collapsed, it fits into a relatively small bag (a bit bigger than a set of golf clubs) and is fairly light to carry.

The only problem at the dog shows is that so many people have bought these tents now, it's difficult to find my way back to my own tent !
