Advantages: Absolutely easy to assemble, dry and warm, shuts out water and wind

Disadvantages: None to me

Whenever the subject of tents have been talked about, the past version of myself would feel a slight hatred towards this camping equipment, as I used to be stuck with the oh, so dreadful job of putting it together and setting it up, a job which I never succeeded at and hated trying to accomplish! So, when a friend of mine told me about the Vango Omega tent, saying that it was very easy to set it up, I honestly didn`t believe him, thinking to myself that probably all tents are a product of the devil... Well, I was wrong, and thankfully, I`m now the owner of a tent that takes me under 5 minutes to assemble and get working!

I went online and purchased this tent at amazon for 120.00, and the high cost reveals that this is a product of great quality. Me and two of my friends ( the tent has room for three grown men ) have used this tent for several various occasions, both in warm and very cold weather. I can happily report that this Vango Omega Tent does a magnificent job in keeping out wind, as the fabric is very solid and of good quality, not once letting wind get inside of it, always keeping the temperature inside of the tent very comfortable, also during very warm weather conditions during summer. However, what I was most interested in, was wether the tent would be able to remain dry during heavy fall of water, as a light drizzle of rain is something than any tent should manage, me more interested in a tent that keeps dry during the worst of rain storms... My experience with the tent is that it does a very solid job of not letting rain fall onto your head and body when inside of it, it shuts out water even when the rain is heavy and consistant, and not once have I experienced it to leak! It`s the case for some tents that they leak from the sides of the floor in the tent, and I wanted to see if this tent managed to keep water away from the edges and corners of the tent as well, and I found that it does, when extremely heavy rain, let some ammount of water in, but this is really not much to mention, as the level of water in the corners is very little and can easily be avoided by moving just centimeters into the core of the tent... So in terms of quality, I`m very pleased with this tent from Vango Omega, as it`s very easy to set up, warm and dry to spend time in and has a nice, neutral design, the color scheme of it light forest green, with a sharp orange inside. This is a great tent for both hobby camping and hiking trips, recommended!
