... my 19" widescreen Xerox PC monitor suddenly stopped working, I didn t hesitate to order a new and bigger screen to replace it. Before the Xerox LCD, I had owned a 17" Iiyama CRT and a 17" Neovo TFT LCD. I definitely prefer monitors that display rich colours, sharp images and have a large screen. Samsung Syncmaster P2270HD ... went out shopping for an LCD HD tv to use as a computer monitor and for my PS3, I was looking for a 19" but they all had only 720p, not the full HD of 1080p..that didn t bother me THAT much, but this TV was only £80 more than I was looking at spending. So, I changed my mind, picked this model and got an extra 3 inches and full HD for an extra £80...my partner wasn t best pleased at first. However, I am extremely impressed with this TV, it performs brilliantly as a computer monitor (it has connections for VGA and DVI) at 1920 x 1080 with 32 bit colour on my budget nVidia 9400GT card (see my other reviews for a review of this graphics card) However, this TV really... Benq G2420HD ... very good product, which has probably the best ratio of bang per buck. 24" screen, 16:9, and DVI/HDMI inputs for that price is almost like a gift ) Specialists working with graphics may find colors a bit unmatched and requiring a bit of tweaking, but for normal user it would be perfectly fine. Notable disadvantage is that HDMI/DVI cables are NOT included in package, but you ll definitely need on of them for getting most of this monitor. Also dont forget to adjust brighness and contrast levels - i ve found that it is capable to be VERY bright, and it s not too good for your eyes. Viewsonic VA1916w ... ve owned this screen for just over 6 months and haven t had a single problem or bad thing to say it works like a dream I used to use a 19" CRT screen that thing was as bulky as a bloated whale with this ViewSonic I can go to my favourite LANs without shortening my spine by serveral vertebrae. It comes with a detachable base and wall mount rungs the combination of these to thing allows me to mount it on my wall when at home and place it on a table at a LAN.
