Another positive thing about this monitor is that it has a cable tidy feature, this hides the connectors at the back of the monitor. Samsung Syncmaster 730BF ... provided but i didnt use it, it seems to be fine without. The screens native resoultion is 1280x1024 which is very good for casual use and gaming, especially in games, this makes the textures appear alot sharper, therfore improving the overall image quality. Along the bottom there are the buttons. One good feature is called the "magicbright" function (accessible by one of the buttons underneath) All you do is press the button and a menu will pop up with a variety of options such as "text", "internet", "games" or "movies" and this adjusts the screens brightness and tint to suit the desired function. Asus MM17T ... the other two buttons on the screen which are (again, surprise) a left arrow on the left and a right arrow on the right. The only thing you need to know from there is to select a particular setting inside the menus, you hit the "splendid" button (to remember that, think of saying "oh, that looks splendid. I'll keep that"), which you might have to do quite a few times to get out of one menu or another. If I went into each and every option on the menus, this review would end up the length of War & Peace, so suffice it to say that you can adjust the colour, brightness, tone, contrast, language and more. Dell Ultrasharp 1907FP ... 12 months and have had absoloutely no problems at all. Functions are driven from an on-screen menu where you can control brightness, positioning, image settings, colour settings and language. What I like about the monitor is the fact that you can plug two USB devices directly into the monitor. These save me fiddling around on the floor trying to locate a spare slot. The monitor comes with a cable which goes into a USB slot on the PC which allows connectivity. As I use this monitor for work purposes only, I am unable to comment on the suitability of the monitor for games playing.
