Samsung Syncmaster 923NW ... upgraded to this after having a 17" CRT monitor. What a difference! First impressions upon recieving this was that it had a fairly solid build, i had to attach the base to the monitor after taking it out of the box. There is a little bit of cable routing which i thought was a nice touch. The base is also nice and stable, something thats nice when you just spent £200 on a monitor (probably less by now). The monitor is really clear and crisp when reading either text documents or the internet and also provides pretty good performance in games. Hanns.G HW191D ... have recently bought this model for a bargain £250 new, and let me start off by saing I am not disappointed, it s widescreen allows viewers to sit back without actually having to squint to see the screen which isn t very good for the eyes. Aswell as that it is fairly simple to setup as long as you know how to setup a monitor. But there is one downfall, the Blue socket that plugs into the back of the processor does bend fairly easily if forced, or put in wrong so do be careful on that, as mines broke fairly quickly, but it is fairly easy to fix the clip. Samsung Syncmaster T220HD ... needed a larger monitor for work purposes, however i wanted one that would look nice as the office is in the back bedroom, this monitor caters for that. It has an attractive look (rare for some monitors) and suits the workspace. The monitor has different inputs so can be used with a lot of different devices, currently i have a VGA connection and a digital connection, this means i have a desktop and a laptop conencted, useful for using the one monitor for two computers. It also has HDMI, Scart and component, however it doesnt have a standard composite, so anything that uses the yellow phono style plug, wont work.
