LG M2294D-PZ ... a major fan of this TV/Monitor. Firstly there is the atrocious picture quality when watching freeview. No matter how much configuring you do, you ll simply be left with rubbish colours and blotchy, blocky images. As mentioned in the other review, when watching from a fair distance it isn t so bad but when sitting in close proximity to the screen, you re bound to notice. Another problem I had with this monitor was the fact that while in PC Mode when I decided to watch a movie or play a game that had dark scenes or backgrounds the monitor would annoyingly dim. Hanns.G HG221AP ... excellent piece of kit. Bought this to use with my Playstation 3 console over a year ago given it has HDMI build it and it has yet to cause me any problems. As there is no TV in this monitor it proved to be very cheap at only 138 pounds at the time. Picture quality is excellent as you would expect and it is able to transmit up to 1080i resolution for my PS3. There are various buttons in which you can change your colour settings to your own criteria. The hannsg monitor also has the ability to hook up to your laptop through a blue cart lead at the back of the monitor. It has excellent connectivity, great picture quality and well worth the money. Samsung Syncmaster 2232BW ... love this monitor! I bought it at Curry s when it was on offer for £190 and it s a purchase I do not regret. Before it, I had a 15" 4:3 monitor, which now seems very small in comparison. Widescreen monitors are now becoming mainstream in all markets and it brings benefits even to the average computer user. This 22" beast is huge and allows you to see separate pages side by side, for example. This will be especially useful for the new Windows 7 OS, which allows you to drag windows to the corner to fill half the screen. It s also fantastic for watching films, but remember that this monitor is 16:10 as opposed to 16:9. That s fine for me because it is the best ...
