... only bought this monitor because at the time HP were doing a £50 cashback offer, and it was £180 on Dabs, so I knew I was getting a bargain. I was originally planning on just ebaying it after the offer had expired, as it turned out that it was a one day only price, and the next day the monitor was up to nearer the £300 mark. Acer AL2416WB ... have installed five of these monitors over the last 6 months for our CAD designers and so far the feed back from the user has been excellent, the resoloution of this monitor is crystal clear and fit s the bill more ways than one, cost wise the monitor can be purchased direct from Misco at around £250, the after sales service comes direct from ACER UK and I have had the pleasure of dealing with then once, one of the monitors was faulty and had to be returned, no quibble shipped it straight back to them and a new moitor arrived a few days later. Acer X223W ... this monitor as part of a PC package in December 2007. Was very happy for the size of monitor for the price, especially in a widescreen format. 22" sounded quite a jump up in size vs my old 15", but fitted well onto desk and now really appreciate the extra screen size. About the product - no issues at all to date, resolution and picture clarity is good, widescreen format is great for all the windows "vista" sidebar gubbins on the right hand side for example. Whilst this is a relatively inexpensive (not glass fronted) TFT compared to others, it is a great monitor for everyday or extended daily use as the extra size reduces eye strain. easy to use... Viewsonic VX1945wm ViewDock ... viewsonic VX1945 ViewDock is really quite an extrodinary LCD screen to be used with a computer. Not only does it provide a high quality picture and sound, but it also includes an ipod dock that allows for very easy and simple connection to your computer, and it all comes in a very attractive black and silver casing. I am currently using one with my mac mini, this works very well and snycs surprising quickly. But I am not quite sure if it will work as well or as fast with a normal PC.
