Well I am staring at one as I write this review, I have owned this monitor for over 4 years now and I can happily say that I have no dead pixels and never had a single issue with the monitor. Although it is now beginning to look a little dated, I think the round corners of the 1914 look good in most environments. It sits on an oval footplate which means it can be used easily where deskspace is at a premium.

The On screen menu is easy to use and intuitive allowing you to customise COntrast, Brightness, Clock Speed, Focus, Language, Position, OSD position and a nice touch is that it offers 2 preset "hues" either a cool blue look or a warm yellow. If neither of those tale your fancy you can define your own - a handy feature if you are not keen on bright lights. I use this screen to watch DVDs, play Games and perform a variety of business tasks. It always performs well and I have never had a complaint to make about it.

Just for information the bezel width is approx 2 cm around the top and sides and 4cm at the bottom.

Summary: Cracking low cost monitor which just goes on and on!
