AcerView LCD FP855 is monitor with high characteristics. It has a picture of very decent quality, which furthermore practically is not worsened when change of an angle of the view. The monitor has simple, but ergonomic design (especially I shall mark recess for various trivialities in a rack). CD-ROM with drivers and demonstration program enters into a package.

The technologies of "intellectual" autoscaling of an image are supported. In Acer FP855 the technology of scaling is realized which not only "stretches" an image on all screen, but also does it maximum realistic at the expense of automatic adding of new color nuances.

The function "iKey" allows by one pressing to make automatic set-up of parameters of an image for a concrete videomode: by one pressing of a button are adjusted color temperature, horizontal and vertical position of an image, focussing of an image (tuning of frequency and phase). The set-up lasts about one second, and on the screen is mapped what parameter is adjusted at this moment.

The new system of screen menus iWheel and control functions permitting to adjust the monitor in a manual mode, on a comparison with a model FP751 of steel is much more convenient. By turning special wheel up or downwards, the user can adjust brightness and image contrast, passing the screen menu. At this moment on screen arise appropriate pictures, on which it is possible to inspect process.

For input in the screen menu it is necessary to press on wheel and by rotation up / downwards to move on choices, selecting them or setting pressing any parameter. But wheel for choice and setting of modes was too "fast": instead of pressing a turn and, therefore, transition to other choice frequently happens.

The apart from it is necessary to mark availability of a built-in microphone and speakers (the adjustment of a level of a sound is carried out with the help of wheel, located in the ra
ck from the right side), and also USB-concentrator. But speakers, I think, are too closely located.

And at last, it is necessary to mark low for modern LCD monitors a velocity of a response when fast moving of objects on a screen and rather high price.
