Advantages: You get all cable types supported for the monitor, beautifully made

Disadvantages: None that I know of

The Acer P193W has to be my 2nd TFT monitor I've ever had but my 1st TFT monitor to personally choose and buy myself. It's a nice widescreen monitor with a resolution of 1440 x 900 which is pretty sweet in my personal taste, and it's also got a nice black touch to it. The black border around the screen is like a sleek shiny black which like really adds nicely to your monitor. It's easy to add on to the stand and it is compatiable with Windows Vista but the most interesting thing I find is it contains a VGA port and a DVI port. For anyone who is curious about what is the big deal and difference is basically DVI is better than VGA but VGA is most common in old computers or old graphic cards. So if your current computer doesn't support DVI then you can use VGA, which is great.

DVI is better because the graphics user interface (GUI - basically what you see really) is more like beautiful if I can say that, it's like really great quality and because it's in a digital format it's also a lot cooler. (I made sense there what so ever).

Okay so basically speaking, the monitor is exetremely good and looks good in my eyes but the best thing about it is this. About 3 months ago I bought this monitor for £99 from Amazon, I then receieved it about 3 days later and this is what came with it. Obviously the monitor and the stand, a double ended VGA and DVI cable and 2 plugs; that'll be the 3 pin UK plug and the 2 pin plug. So overall you're covered from all angles, if you have one thing but not the other you still get to use your monitor! (If this has changed just message me and I'll remove that bit).

Also you get a disc with the monitor which is some sort of monitoring program for the monitor, I've only used it once and I don't really think you even need it anyway.

Summary: A great widescreen monitor for anyone to use!
