Great little monitor for a bargain price!!

My farthers 10 year old crt monitor finally gave out, a month ago now, powered by a newer more powerful pc i decided i would upgrade it for here to something my "sleek" a tft was needed, not being rich, i had 2 main requiremenets, it must be good looking and reliable, of which i can say this monitor definatly is. Although my dads computer is only running a 128mb graphics card the picture is clear and precise with no dead pixels or fading. The screen being plug and play worked stright out of the box, meaning for my "dont have a clue about technology" dad it was great, and the price i got it for, well he wasnt complaining. All round id definatly rate this monitor for someone looking for a cheap, reliable and generally good looking monitor for home use wit the possibility of some game play or the possibility of watching dvds/ using the hd connection.

Excellent buy for an upgrade to a TFT monitor

I own a number of computer systems at home making up my own home LAN.

I usually do bulk upgrades to all my systems when needed. As it so happens, I needed to upgrade my old CRT monitors to the new TFT type.

I like to be thorough in my search when upgrading hardware.

The V193W, in my opinion brought together the three most important things I look for in hardware upgrades:

      1. Quality and...
      2. Quantity at a...
      3. Good Price

The monitor has a large enough screen area for desktop applications to operate without the need for much left and right scrolling. You can easily have a few applications open on the screen at the same time.

The quality of the picture is sharp and crisp, nothing like you would expect for the price of the monitor. Even gamers and web designers using high performance software will find that this monitors quality reaches the required standards.

Installation is as easy as unplugging your old monitor and plugging the new one in. If you are running an old operating system such as Windows 98 you will have to install the necessary drivers. Windows XP and Vista users will probably find they don't need to install any drivers.

If you need a cheaply priced monitor that provides a crisp, clear screen display then the V193W is for you.
