I bought this monitor for a second display for my home office desktop. It is a quick, responsive monitor on its own stand. The stand itself has a small square base which means it doesn't take up too much room. Also the stand has a slight groove which is ideal for pens, paperclips etc.

The monitor takes a standard VGA input.

The controls at the front of the monitor are discreet and are easy to use. The Acer V193WEOb also comes with an 'eco' settings button which allow the user to easily select and adjust the energy saving features of the monitor.

I use my desktop for office based applications and for serious PC gaming and I find that this monitor is ideal for both uses. Yes, you can pay a lot more and get a better monitor but for the price this one is more than ideal. I'm shortly going to purchase another one to replace my main monitor as it's old and starting to fail.

I would recommend this monitor as a great all-round budget monitor.
