Advantages: Sharp clean image
Disadvantages: No DVI, HDMI or Component inputs
For those not needing very specific functions like true 8bit per channel colour or 2ms response times, this is an excellent quality monitor.
I wanted something to plug into my laptop to allow me full HD (1920x1080) for movies, games and video editing.
I was surprised at the quality of this budget screen and expected a flat, lifeless image like that of my laptop screen.
It's not as glossy, sharp or colour-precise as some monitors out there, but I never expected to own a 1080HD screen at such a low price.
I would recommend this screen for those looking for some extra real-estate on their desktop, or looking to watch full HD movies in comfort.
The only downside for me is that the display only accepts analogue signals via a VGA cable, so no HDMI, DVI or component inputs here.
If you are looking for a good TFT screen and waiting for the prices to drop - take a look again. Acer have a great monitor here for the average user.
Summary: A great fullHD monitor for those not looking for professional features.
