had to be cheap. Considering this, I went to amazon and picked the cheapest 22" widescreen monitor, which happened to be this Acer. The version I have is finished in a glossy black effect, and looks every bit as premium as some of the top-end Sony offerings. Using it as a secondary display on a Vista laptop, there were some issues reaching its native 1680x1050 resolution to begin with. These were soon resolved by downloading new drivers from the internet, but it would have been nice if it d just worked out of the box. In terms of picture quality, you get what you pay for. we all know: as bigger monitor is asbetter. This here has 22" and is quite big like for Pc monitor. Am sure thet we will see much bigger and better in the nearest feature because of all the time speeding up technology. Bought this monitor myself one year ago and am seriously satisfied. It does look excellent, all buttons you can find under front panel. It is easy to use, works straight after connection. There is only one small issue. Proper drivers can improve device s performance. As all monitors are getting more and cheaper, here is one more solution from Acer to increase your computer experience with even bigger screen of 22". I have this monitor for over one year and do have to admit, that haven t had any problems at all. Looked beautifully on a desk, even thought it has 22" doesn t take a lot of space. Installation This went really quickly and without any unnecessary issues. All I had to do was to unpack every single unit, place monitor on a table plug, cables and connect monitor to power socket. After that switched my PC on and everything done. Driver has been found, monitor detected and recognized and that was it. About When ...
