Advantages: Very good value for money and easy to setup/operate.
Disadvantages: Overall quality is not there compared with other higher quality monitors.
I bought this as the monitor for my other PC in the house and I have been really impressed with it. The first thing that I felt was really good about this monitor is the price. It is a very good monitor to have if you are on a budget or even to use on a second PC in the home. It is available from Amazon for just over £90 and I think that it really is very good value for money.
I really think that the style of this monitor is also very good, it would most certainly be a compliment to anybody's desk. Of course being a TFT monitor it takes up very little space on the desk which I found to be very useful. Another feature that is worth noting is that the picturee quality is excellent, when playing movies on my computer I really did think that the quality was superb and especially so for the price. The impressive resolution of 1600x900 and contrast ratio of 10000:1 makes this an ideal monitor to show you photo's and movies on etc.
I found that 20" was a great size to have on a desk because it is big enough for you to enjoy your multimedia but at the same time it will not be overpowering on your desk. It offers a lot of adjustability and so for example, when I was using it as apposed to my partner (very different heights) I found it particularly easy to adjust. The black matt finish does look very sleek and overall I would highly recommend. There is very few buttons and so it really is a very easy to use, I also found it very easy to setup with my PC. I think if your looking for a monitor that represents good value for money whilst delivering a stylish image, this is the one to go for.
However, for those of you who will be using this for many hours in the day, I would recommend going for one that is of a bigger size. Simply because after a few hours of use I found the screen size to become quite irritable. I think you would find it ideal for office work but for mutlimedia and games, there are better alternatives. Thank you for reading this and I hope you found it useful.
Summary: A functional monitor and is very good value for money.
