Acer V233Hbd ... bought this monitor to replace a smaller screen included in a bundle from PC World. Being sceptical about Acers and their build quality i took the plunge anyway, as the price was excellent. The screen quality is very good, the colours are vibrant and can be adjusted if necessary. The addiction of a warm/cool filter is a nice option, although the default option is fine. With it s 5 ms refresh rate i was expecting slight ghosting but there isn t any to speak of. The monitor itself takes a few seconds to warm up when turned on. Also changing the resolution to anything above 1900x1080 isn t advised, as it ll say Input Not Supported and it s hard to get back to a workin... Acer AL1916C ... a monitor anyway. Contrast = 700:1. See above as the same applies. Connectivity = VGA and DVI-D. It s nice having the DVI-D option as a lot of newer graphics cards have this as an output. Warranty = 3 years as standard. We have had a couple replaced with no problems, just keep your receipts/invoices! Overall it is a good, solid screen that does what it says it will. It s not the prettiest screen I have ever seen but far from the ugliest. Unfortunately there is no height adjustment on the stand but you can tilt the screen back and forth a little. Out of 150 we have had about 5 play up - but these have been replaced by Acer after we proved our purchase with an invoice.... Acer P243Wd ... you are in the realsm of looking to buy a new computer monitor then look no further than Acer s range of beautiful TFT Displays. This is Acers 24 inch widescreen high definition multi media / gaming screen. When this screen was delivered the box it came in was huge. Upon opening the box there were the power leads at the top with manual and installation software (if required). Under the polystyrene tray the screen was pacakged very well and the screen had additional layers of protection on it. Once you get the screen out of the box, (which may require 2 people) you are left looking at a glossy black screen and a satin silver stand. All of the buttons are on the bot...
